Autism

Your child has the autism and the you ve says that social deficits of qualifications must be envisaged. As can you make to help your child learn how you how to behave correctly, make friends, and to obtain length in the world? Like me, you could have been known as that your child must be in a school placing with other children to have a social life. Let consider during one minute which kind of social qualifications a child with the autism can learn at the school.

1. In an arrangement of school or classroom, your child is exposed to positive and negative socialization. This isnt really discussed by which of us who were at the school. The question is if good socialization is higher than the bad socialization.

2. There are in general two placements for children with the autism when it comes to the schools. Each one comes with its own disadvantages with regard to social qualifications.

For those which low-function, it there in the classroom special ED. If your child is placed in a class special ED, they can really take negative behaviors of the other students. The children who never said a bad word in their lives come to the house with all the kinds of words which the parents know them didnt teach their child. Or perhaps a child that the aggressive wasnt previously starts to imitate to strike, corrosive, or shouting of a comrade of class. Thats not what I think that the majority of the parents hope for the moment when they is known as to put their child at the school to learn from the social qualifications.

If your child high-functions, they can be mainstreamed in a classroom regular ED. Will the typical behaviors their pars be the positive socialization which you hoped for for? Unfortunately, much of children of periods with the autism become an easy target for the despots who cause them physical and the emotive evil.

Other comrades of class, who can be rather nice themselves, can motionless outward journey with jokes or the name cruel calling at the expense of a child to the autism just because they do not want to be banished their pars. If its to intimidate, to tease, or insulation, children who are different and do not have the same social capacities that their pars often have great difficulties just trying to survive one day the school. These children often exhibent signs of enormous effort and concern, depression, and some contemplate even the suicide. Are there thus solutions of replacement?

The families which are worried by the educational and social wellbeing their children often choose to teach them at the house. House-to inform gets a better occasion with positive socialization all in rigorously limiting the possibility of negative social experiments. House-educated children are not isolated or not unsocialized. House-to inform presents simply the means of the parents of exposing their children to a variety of social conditions when they feel that their child is ready to handle them.

The majority of the communities have groups of house-school who offer days of park, teams of sports, classes special or lessons, as well as of the meetings without ceremony for the house-educated children. It must note that the children with the autism simply do not learn from the social qualifications while being with the typical pars independently of arrangement — school or at the house. In order to control social qualifications, the autistic children require specific instruction and occasions to initially practise qualifications in arrangements with another child, then with two children, then in small groups, and then in great groups.

To place a child with the autism in a situation of classroom (or any situation of group) and to suppose that they will learn from the salutary social qualifications just because other children are present are not supported by research or reality

The good direction indicates to us that we do not teach a child with the autism to swim by throwing them in the major end of a swimming pool and in their saying to start to swim. In the same way, if we want that the children with the autism swim in the social world, we bevel just put them in a situation which ensures practically their failure.

We must teach them point by point and give them the abundance of the hour to practise their social qualifications in a directed arrangement. We can achieve this via the dates face to face of play with pars, social qualifications of small groups, reports/ratios of relative of child of same parents, walks of the community, etc Tellement the next time somebody proposes that you should simply put your child with the autism at the school because of their need for socialization, consider exactly what this means for your child.

Theres not much obviously constraining to suggest that inclusion in arrangements of school achieves socialization or positive excellence in education for the majority of the children, particularly children with the autism. We can better do at the house.
